Hi, I'm Nico. I lead growth and product marketing at Rock, and I spend most of my time on one question: how do small teams and agencies actually get work done without drowning in tools?

Most of what I write comes from understanding the landscape: how the project management, team chat, and collaboration categories fit together, where each tool is positioned, and which kind of team it genuinely serves. When I compare tools I sign up and run a real workflow through each, check the current pricing, and look at how teams actually use them, not just the feature lists. I've worked through dozens this way, from Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Monday, and Notion to Slack and a long tail of newer tools. My job in a comparison is to help you find the right fit, even when that isn't Rock. Good product marketing means knowing your niche and being honest about it; a tool that tries to be the best alternative to everything earns trust with no one.

That's how I think about Rock, too. It isn't for every team. It's for people who want chat and a light task board in one place, at a flat price, without the overhead of project-management software they will never grow into.

I joined Rock as its first marketing hire in 2020 and built its content, SEO, and growth program from scratch. Before that I spent seven-plus years leading growth for B2B SaaS, fintech, and AI-tool companies. I'm based in Barcelona and work across English and Spanish.
